On Wednesday we watched an old, historical movie from the 1939 called Gone With The Wind. The movie took place in the Civil War. As you can see the movie is about surviving the war. Even though parts of the movie are stressful it also has some romance. All the characters are terrified but are still trying to live their lives the best they can even though there is so much going on.

The main character named Scarlett she is very boy obsessive and very flirtatious. Sadly the man she loved was engaged, she was very distraught but still determined to make him hers. Soon enough Scarlett marries another man to make Ashley Wilkes jealous. During the war Scarlett became a nurse to help out take care of all the injured men that took part of the war. When Scarlett was working hard with the casualties she seemed to get very overwhelmed. During her nursing job her sister in law became very sick and was about to deliver a baby. Scarlett had to deliver the baby alone because the doctor was to busy with helping the injured soldiers.

The whole movie Scarlett was very determined to get her life back it did cause her to be a little bossy which I probably would be the same if I was in her position. Scarlett became very independent as the movie went on so we were to see a part of her grow. In the end Scarlett didn't end up with Ashley which she was devastated with but she did end up marrying Rhett Butler which both of them are very similar to each other. Rhett and Scarlett gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Bonnie who sadly passed away when she six years old due to a horse back riding accident. In the end I actually thought the movie was pretty good and would highly recommend the movie.
